If you do not have health insurance or you choose not to use your health insurance to pay for care, you generally have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of the expected charges for scheduled health care items and services.
When you can receive an estimate
If the bill is much higher than the estimate
If a provider’s billed charges are at least $400 more than that provider’s Good Faith Estimate, you may be eligible to use the federal patient-provider dispute resolution process. Keep a copy of your Good Faith Estimate and your bill.
How to request a Good Faith Estimate
Contact ListenWell’s intake or billing team through the secure patient communication process or call 866-882-WELL (9355). If you have insurance but do not intend to use it for the service, tell us when you schedule or request the estimate.
