Patient and referral information
Patient or referral information should be submitted only through the secure referral or intake pathway linked from the website. ListenWell’s secure referral process is connected to an approved health care system or EHR workflow. Do not send diagnoses, treatment information, Social Security numbers, Medicare numbers, or other sensitive health information through an ordinary website contact form or regular email.
When you move from the public website into a secure patient or referral workflow, information collected there is handled under applicable health privacy and security requirements and the ListenWell HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices.
How we use website information
Cookies, analytics, and tracking technologies
The public website may use essential cookies or limited analytics for security, functionality, and site performance. ListenWell does not permit third-party advertising pixels, session-replay tools, or similar tracking technologies to collect or receive protected health information from secure referral, intake, scheduling, portal, or telehealth workflows unless the use has been specifically reviewed and approved for compliance with applicable law and required agreements are in place.
A cookie banner or website privacy notice does not by itself authorize a disclosure of protected health information.
Sharing with service providers
We may use vendors for website hosting, security, communications, analytics, EHR, intake, scheduling, and related services. Vendors receive information only as needed for approved functions. When a vendor creates, receives, maintains, or transmits protected health information on our behalf and qualifies as a business associate, ListenWell requires appropriate HIPAA safeguards and a Business Associate Agreement.
Sale and marketing
ListenWell does not sell protected health information. We do not use protected health information for targeted advertising without a lawful basis and any authorization required by HIPAA.

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information. No internet transmission is completely risk-free, so sensitive patient information should be submitted only through the approved secure pathway.
